On Friday April 25, 2025 we announced our 3 HHC Faces for our upcoming HHC Halifax event on June 10, 2025 at Workspace Bayers lake.
Each of these women are celebrating an incredible accomplishment and we are absolutely honoured to recognize and celebrate them at our upcoming event.
This year I launched an adaptive clothing line through my brand, Celebrate Your Curves, designed specifically for individuals with disabilities and mobility needs. Rooted in the belief that fashion should be inclusive and accessible for every body, this new line brings that vision to life. I was honoured to receive theMost Inspiring Immigrant Award by My East Coast Experience and RBC, and I am currently among the Top 75 finalists for the Top 25 Canadian Immigrant Awards—I invite you to support me by casting your vote. I began integrating 3D body measurement technology into our website to enhance accessibility to custom-fit clothing. These initiatives are part of my ongoing mission to celebrate diversity and empower individuals through fashion that truly fits.
This year I created Find the Light: The Path to Consistent Pay & Financial Confidence, a simple, private five-episode podcast for self-employed women who want to feel more in control of their money. I know reaching out for financial coaching can feel intimidating, so I designed this low-key, no-pressure series as a way for women to learn about common money challenges and start building confidence on their own time, in their own space. It’s not polished or fancy, but it’s honest, supportive, and meant to be a gentle first step toward financial clarity.
This past year has been Professionally exciting and gratifying. I was "Hand" selected to participate in the European Travel Advisor Forum (ETAF) taking place this past October and held in the beautiful Azore Islands! This Forum brings together approximately 150 North American Travel Advisors, which I am very proud to say that I was one of three Canadians amongst this group. The organizers have strict criteria as to the business operations, module of, work ethic and professionalism which all play a factor in being asked to attend. To note, these are Hosted positions and therefore, being selected is a huge honour. The ETAF brings us together to learn first hand of the Host Destination, which for this event was the Island of Terceira, Azores, as well as Travel Suppliers. During this Conference, the learning and connections made are extremely valuable to my business, especially the one on one meetings with suppliers from all over Europe. It is events such as this which pave the way to building strong travel trade partner relationships and other learning opportunities. One such opportunity is being selected to attend a similar Conference in the Baltic Region of Europe (May 2025) where I will be hosted by the Tourism Agencies of the three countries of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
