On Friday April 5, 2025 we announced our 3 HHC Faces for our upcoming HHC Fredericton event on May 6, 2025 at Dooly's Main Street.
Each of these women are celebrating an incredible accomplishment and we are absolutely honoured to recognize and celebrate them at our upcoming event.
I have been managing r2r clothing and home for almost 2 years, learning the ins and outs of owning a business. I love everything about the retail business from buying to merchandising but most of all I love the people that visit the store and become friends. I work with a great team of ladies and we all bring a beautiful energy to the store. The store has become my space. On May 3rd, all of my learning will come full circle when I (and my husband) introduce Mabel & Frank's Boutique. We are doing a soft opening and eventually r2r clothing and home will all be M&F. We are grateful to our friends, Heather and Malcom for this opportunity. Where does the name Mabel and Frank's come from? They are our beloved French Bulldogs!
This year, Jenn and her husband Dwayne have continued their impactful work with the 20K Sock Day initiative, a campaign dedicated to collecting warm, dry socks for the unhoused. On February 28th, they celebrated the successful collection of 12,226 pairs of socks in New Brunswick, marking a significant milestone in their ongoing efforts. Jenn and Dwayne have been leading this initiative for several years, rallying a team of ambassadors throughout New Brunswick and expanding into other provinces. The campaign's goal is to provide essential warmth and comfort to those experiencing homelessness, particularly during the harsh winter months. The 20K Sock Day initiative stands out due to its grassroots approach and the personal dedication of its leaders. Jenn and Dwayne's hands-on involvement, from organizing collection drives to engaging with community members, sets this campaign apart. Their ability to mobilize volunteers and create a widespread network of support highlights the unique and powerful nature of this initiative. For Jenn, the 20K Sock Day initiative is more than just a charitable campaign; it is a deeply personal mission. The importance of providing basic necessities to the unhoused resonates strongly with her values of compassion and community support. Each pair of socks collected represents a tangible act of kindness and a step towards alleviating the struggles faced by those without shelter. Jenn's commitment to this cause is evident in the meticulous planning and execution of the campaign. The success of this year's collection, with over 12,000 pairs of socks collected, underscores the significant impact of their efforts and the importance of continuing this vital work. Since 2020, over 62,000 pairs of socks have been distributed to shelters and organizations that support the unhoused in New Brunswick.
This year, I launched a new self-paced online course to accompany The M-Powered Shift, my signature program supporting women in midlife as they move
into and through the transition of menopause, as well as helping them understand how to avoid and heal from burnout. Over the past year, I’ve helped
more than 100 women take back their health through holistic wellness, and I’ve also stepped into public speaking—sharing insights on burnout and hormonal
health at events, most recently a women’s weekend wellness getaway, Women@Plaza REIT, and a provincial public school branch. I’m passionate
about creating tools and conversations that help women thrive both personally and professionally!
